Thanks to everyone for your patience and cooperation during drop off time in the morning. We have 17 buses and many, many families who drop off children between 7:50 and 8:20 every morning. Having so many vehicles and so many young children has the potential to be very dangerous, so we so appreciate your cooperation. For those who may not have dropped off children last year, we ask that you: 

-Only drop off your child in a designated zone. 

- Please have your child ready to get out of the vehicle when you pull up to a designated drop off zone.  

-Please stay in the car and only allow your child to get out on the side closest to the school.  

-Please wait until the vehicle in front of you pulls away before pulling out 

-Please remember never to pass a bus when their lights are flashing 

I know it seems like a lot of rules, but they are all in place to keep our students safe.

Thanks to everyone who participated in Becca Told Me To Day and took the opportunity to model and spread kindness throughout our community. I am so enjoying reading all the acts of kindness the students completed. I will be reading some of them on the morning announcements this week and using all the slips to make a kindness heart. 

Unfortunately, the Honouring the Children and Peace Powwow scheduled for this Saturday has been cancelled. The organizers are hoping to reschedule this event at a later time. 

Finally, some of you have been asked about school photos. School photos will be taken this year on Friday, October 15th.
