On
October 25, Sam Jingfors, a director from an organization called Safer Schools
Together, gave a presentation to approximately 285 parents/guardians about issues
facing our children in the digital world.
“Knowing
how to keep your children safe online is important,” said Catherine Blaney,
acting superintendent, Anglophone West School District. “We hope those that attended
found the event informative and worthwhile.”
Parenting
in a Digital World took place in person at Fredericton High School and
was live simulcast to 10 other Anglophone West School District Schools.
