Earth Week at Simonds

The students of Team Green have organized some events this week to celebrate Earth Day, April 22nd.
April 20 – Name the Duck – Our ducks that usually hang out in the brook beside the school are starting to take up residence in Simonds Pond. We are having a Name the Duck competition. Please submit names for a “duck” and drop the names into the office in the box provided – before April 20. The name will be drawn on April 21. A prize will be awarded.
April 21 – Lights Out Day – As in previous years, we are organizing a Lights Out Day.  This is a national campaign and Simonds has had great success in the past.
April 21- Earth Day celebrations at school. Encourage your students to wear green.
May 3 – As in previous years, Team Green is organizing an Outdoor Spring Clean-Up. More information to follow.
