Simonds High School Diploma Ceremony - June 23^rd, 2021

UNDER ALERT LEVEL YELLOW

NO RAIN DATE.  If inclement weather the Ceremony will be held in the gymnasium. Masks will be mandatory.

Virtual graduation video to be released on June 23^rd at 5pm.

Procedure for graduates to get a picture with Diploma and Principal.

10 Sessions will occur (see schedule on reverse) and each graduate will choose a session (max per session is 16).

*Sessions MUST be booked with the main office by calling 658-5367.

Vehicle(s) will arrive on campus at the assigned time of the selected session. Vehicles will stop at the fire hydrant, which is located before the corner to D Bldg., and passengers must wait in vehicle.

Graduates will receive a graduation package, which is theirs to keep. Package will include: Gown, cap, tassel, diploma, graduation program, and yearbook (if purchased)

Vehicles will be informed as to when they can proceed to the designated parking lot.

In the parking lot (A or B) graduates will have 15 minutes to prepare and lineup (bring their diploma).

Guests will proceed to the front D Bldg. (gym doors)

** Social/Physical distancing must be always maintained when on campus.

Each graduate will be called to the platform in front of D Bldg. for a picture with the Principal and presentation of Diploma. Principal will then move aside and an individual picture of the graduate holding their diploma can occur.

After pictures are taken, the graduate and guests must return to their vehicle and leave the campus as another session will be preparing for lineup.

      Graduation fee of $50.00 must be paid in full using:  https://asd-s.schoolcashonline.com/​​

      No pets permitted on the campus.

Again, all sessions will follow the same guidelines:

          1.       Arrive on campus at time indicated.

          2.       Wait in vehicle and package will be delivered to vehicle.

          3.       Vehicles will be instructed to proceed to designated parking lot (A or B)

          4.       Once in the parking lot, graduated prepare and lineup (following social distance guidelines)
