​​Saint John Volunteer Center & Status of Woman Canada Need You!

Volunteers needed! This is a year-long program for females aged 17-25 that will allow students to partake in workshops and hear inspirational speakers. The second phase will have young women form their own committee and practice leadership skills learned in their workshops.  This will give them an opportunity to raise awareness about women’s issues, raise funds, or host an event. The final phase will have the participants matched with a mentor in the community who will bring them into board and committee meetings. This is a great opportunity for students 17 and older to gain leadership skills and network with influential women while furthering the role of women in the community.

Please see Mrs. Taylor in the Guidance Center for an application. The application forms are easy to complete but must be submitted to Mrs. Taylor by Friday, March 15th.
