St. Malachy's Memorial High School

Academic Excellence

A component of St. Malachy's unique identity, academic excellence is prominent in all our thinking and planning. St. Malachy’s students and graduates have gone on to distinguish themselves as leaders in business, in government, in various professions and as significant contributors to civic life. St. Malachy’s is dedicated to a truly holistic approach to education, addressing the whole person, students and staff recognize that the first and most important goal for an institution of higher learning is ensuring that students acquire the fundamental learnings required for success in our increasing complex society. To this end, teacher/student contact time is maximized, programs such as Advanced Placement are pursued vigourously, and academic achievement is esteemed. One and all live daily with the realization that the ultimate success of the school is dependent on its reputation as a place where all students will be challenged to achieve the very best they can. At St. Malachy’s, tradition and academic achievement are virtually synonymous.

Vision Statement

St. Malachy’s Memorial High School is committed to educating the whole person. Through a rigorous and comprehensive program of studies we prepare students – academically, socially and morally – to assume their places as conscientious, involved and contributing members of society.
