On Thursday, May 4th the PSSCs of the four high schools will host their third and final It Takes A Village to Raise A Teen parent session for the year at Harbour View High.

Guest speaker Dr. Daniel Chorney will provide an informative session on anxiety and parenting strategies. 

There will also be a very good mix of professionals from local organizations who provide services for youth who will be on hand before and after to answer any questions specific to access and service.  Some of these include Cdn Mental Health, Gentle Path, Teen Resource Centre, PEER SJ, LINK Program and ISD.  

This session is intended for the parents of middle and high school students, but we welcome parents from any level if they have interest in attending.
