Report Cards

Report Cards for students in Grades 9 – 11 will be available on Friday, June 21st at 9:00.  They can be picked up from homeroom teachers.  After 11:00 that morning, all report cards will be available from the main office.  Buses will make their normal morning runs on that day – but will leave HVHS beginning at 11:30.
 
For potential graduates, you will receive a telephone call from homeroom teachers the afternoon of Monday, June 17 if your student is not graduating – or needs to make arrangements to complete the requirements.  Otherwise, Grade 12 students will receive report cards at rehearsal on Wednesday, June 19, 1:00pm.
 
Meet the Teacher – Thursday, August 29
Our Meet the Teacher event for next school year will take place on Thursday, August 29, 4:30 – 6:30 pm. 
 
 
 
 
ATTENTION: GRADE 11 Parents and Students
 
On Thursday, June 20, 2019, TAPSS and the Grade 11 parents/students will host the Graduation Ceremony Reception in the HVHS Gymnasium immediately following the actual Graduation ceremony. Listed below are the items and help needed to make this event happen. Please contact the school if you are able to help in any way!
 
FOOD ITEMS NEEDED
 
8   cans of frozen orange juice (extra pulp or homestyle)
5   bottles of Cranberry Cocktail (3.78L size)
8   cans of pineapple juice
8   large bottles of Fruit Punch
8   bottles of Sprite or 7Up (2L)
4   large bottle of sweet gherkins pickles
4   large bottles of small dill pickles
10  boxes of crackers (Ritz, Triscuits, Breton etc)
3   large bricks (400-500 grams) of Mozzarella cheese 
3   large bricks (400-500 grams) Havarti cheese
2   large bricks (400-500 grams) Monteray Jack
3   large bricks (400-500 grams) Marble cheese
4   large bricks (400-500 grams) Cheddar  cheese
 
16  yellow/orange or red sweet peppers
16  English cucumbers
8    large boxes of cherry tomatoes
8    large bags of baby carrots
16  heads of brocolli
8    cauliflours
8    bags Red Grapes
8    bags Green grapes
8    boxes of strawberries
  pineapples (please core, peel and cut into large chunks)
8    boxes of large blueberries
4    whole watermelon
 
 
FANCY SANDWICHES/APPETIZERS
 
We will need aprox. 20 people who will each provide 4 dozen fancy sandwiches or appetizers. They do not need to be plated. They should be delivered in a container clearly labeled as to the kind of item. We will be making up the trays on the afternoon of the 20th.  Examples:  Cherry cheese, asparagus rolls, egg, open face on pita etc. As always, please remember the NO NUTS policy.
 
VOLUNTEERS
 
On the 20th, we would welcome any help with food prep and/or decorating the gym.  We plan to meet at the school around noon and spend the afternoon and evening at the school. We are also looking for some grade 11 students willing to help with decorating, serving and clean up.
 
 
DECORATIONS: 
 
We are looking for a few items to help with the decorating. If anyone is able to help with any of the following, please let us know ASAP.
 
~Large (at least 4 feet) lighted trees (small white lights preferred). We would love to have 6 but would settle for even 1!
~A portable Archway
