As parents and guardians - are you concerned about what is happening with your teen and their social media? Or are we even aware of what is being posted and shared and seen?

We know that teens’ and tweens’ brains are still developing throughout high school and middle school and that these students often lack impulse control and the ability to understand the long-term consequences of decisions made in moments of happiness, anger, and frustration. With over 94% of students on line today, we need to be concerned with what they are seeing, sharing and posting to their friends and the online world.

The committee of “It Yakes a Village” is pleased to offer another speaker series.
It takes a village to raise a teen: Consent and Risky Behaviors: An informative presentation for parents of youth in the era of social media and electronic devices.

This FREE informative presentation is designed for parents/guardians of youth in the era of social media and electronic devices. Please feel free to share this event with friends, family, co-workers

Student Perception Surveys

Each year, students complete surveys on their school experience which help us to make decision for areas of focus within the school.  Our students will be completing this survey over the next two weeks.

This week, students were presented data from previous perception surveys along with ways our school has responded to that information.  That presentation is attached to this email for you.  TTFM HR Presentation Nov 2018.pdf
