Plans to celebrate our Graduating Class of 2020 are being finalized, but we want to make sure students and families are aware generally of what ‘Graduation Week’ will look like so you can plan accordingly.

NOTE:  This is dependent upon our region moving into the next Yellow Phase of the provincial recovery plan allowing for outside gatherings of 50 people.

Monday, June 15^th from 2:00 – 6:00 (Bus Parking Lot) will be the opportunity for Grads to pick up their cap/gown, yearbook (if they arrive by that date), medals (if applicable) etc.  Any school items (textbooks, uniforms, library books, novels borrowed from teachers etc…) should be returned this day.

Tuesday, June 16^th (Students with last names A – K) and Wednesday, June 17^th (Last names L – Z):  Opportunity to return with small group (1 car of family/friends) for a cap/gown photo on the front stairs.  This will take place from 4:00 – 8:00 each day.  There will be a more detailed schedule provided in which graduates will be provided a specific time period to arrive.

In case of severe weather on one of these days, those photos will move to Thursday, June 18^th .

Graduates who will be returning for the photo opportunities will receive their diplomas at that time.  Others will receive theirs when they pick up their cap and gown.  Cap/Gowns this year do not need to be returned, so you can arrange for family/group photos any time after they are picked up.  Homeroom Teachers will be contacting graduates next week to determine who plans to return for the photo evenings.  This will allow us to plan for both the distribution of diplomas and better schedule the photos.

Friday, June 19^th our Graduation Video will be released through our social media sites and on our school website at 7:00pm.  This will include Valedictory and Salutatory addresses, reading of graduate list, award winners etc..
